There is currently a compatibility problem with XCache and CiviCRM will not display any page content if XCache has been installed.

If XCache is installed, CiviCRM will not display any pages after the installation process has completed. Therefore some mechanism is required to detect whether XCache is installed, alert the user and ask for some remdial action. Currently this means using another php caching mechanism or disabling php caching altogether.
