      Description

Attempting to upgrade from v.4.0.8 to v.4.1.1. Recieved the these two write error messages when attempting to install CiviCRM:

"The user account used by your web-server needs to be granted write access to the following directory in order to configure the CiviCRM settings file:
      /C:/wamp/www/drupal/sites/default/files"

"The user account used by your web-server needs to be granted write access to the following directory in order to configure the CiviCRM settings file:
      /C:/wamp/www/drupal/sites/default"

After reverting back to v. 4.0.8, the problem was solved.

It appears that /C: is hardcoded into installer in v. 4.1.1 (see forum topic number 23983)
