      Description

      I believe CiviCRM is conflicting with the following Wordpress Plugins:

      NextGen Gallery (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/): I am unable to view images within Galleries whenever CiviCRM is activated. I can view images within galleries when I inactivate CiviCRM.
      Simple Ads Manager (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-ads-manager/): I am unable to add new Ads Places whenever CiviCRM is activated. I can add new ads places when I inactivate CiviCRM.

        Did below change and also fixed install script.

        $_GET['mode'] = 'wordpress';
        to
        $_GET['civicrm_install_type'] = 'wordpress';

        Can you guys confirm if that solves conflict issue?

        I'm also finding conflicts between the CiviCRM plugin and the SlideDeck 2 Lite (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slidedeck2/) as well as User Acess Manager (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-access-manager/) which was mentioned in a previous comment. In both cases the conflict is causing the CiviCRM interface to malfunction - specifically the pop-up calendar date picker field is not working and the main contact select field for Activities is also not working. When I disable SlideDeck 2 Lite plugin and the User Access Manager plugin, CiviCRM functions normally again.

        I tried commenting out and replacing the script as described above and it did not resolve the issues.

        Any ideas what may be causing the conflict?

        Hello,

        Just upgraded a test version of CiviCRM to 4.2 beta 5 and I am still experiencing the same conflicts.

        Thanks for the suggestion - I was also hopeful that the new release might have dealt with the conflicts, but it appears not.

        Other suggestions?

        Thanks,

        Spencer

        I'm having exactly the same issue as Spencer with SlideDeck 2 (Developer Version). I am using version 4.2.8. Like Spencer I'd appreciate any suggestions.
