Possible to add group to Profile 'Notify me of Volunteer Opportunities'

Since the profile 'Notify me of Volunteer Opportunities' is reserved, you can not add a group to the profile. It would be an improvement if you can add those people who have signed up to a group, e.g. Potential Volunteers or whatever you choose to call it.
