Suggestion is to make the following 'set' of fields collapsible, we add a setting in Display Settings to say

      • expand/collapse the xxxxxxx set of fields
(xxxx needs to be a term to cover Communication/Language Preferences and Greetings etc)

A couple of clients have commented that the Summary screen loses a lot of prime space to the

i think the following needs to happen:

      Modify the settings here:

      http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/preferences/display?reset=1

So in addition to enabling / disabling a specific component, we should also add a weight so folks can re-order where things are displayed

I have started working on this issue and I want to share my idea for exploring any possibility of changes before code work. According to my understanding I am going to provide a 'configure' link against each block upon checking (please check the screenshot) which will lead to a pop-up form providing following options to corresponding block:
          1) Expand/Collapse option for this block(or fieldset)
          2) Reordering facility for its fields.

Those checkboxes currently only affect the "edit contact" page and not the contact summary page. Are you changing that?

Web Access added a comment -

No I am not changing that and aware of its implication. I am keeping this improvement on hold waiting for further suggestion and alternative to implement it.
