Batch merge looses list from session

When batch merging, apparently the list (of the batch) is kept in a session. if you sidestep to another tab with civicrm (eg to check if something went ok), the list is gone. in the first tab, doing a 'merge and go to next pair' works, but the following screen doesnt offer that option anymore, instead it only offers 'merge', as if this item was the last in the list.

I think it might have been fixed in 4.2. Couldnt repeat it on the demo site, but its hard to reproduce anyway.
