Matching Donations

There are several use cases where organizations need to track matching donations for individual donors and/or campaigns. It seems like most of the scaffolding is in place to automate the process of matching donations/pledges received from an individual or campaign to the pledge of another entity/organization.

For example, when an individual has a matching donor (e.g. their employer), a relationship could enable Civi to create a pledge on the employer record for every donation that the employee makes during a timespan.

Similarly, campaign pledges could automatically be matched (or multiplied) by Civi, and added as pledges on a constituent record for a matching donor.
