Description
Reproduced on Demo site.
1. Create a custom data field of type "number". do not set a default value
2. View a contact, see that number is blank
3. edit that contact, see that number is blank
4. save the contact, now the number is "0"
This doesn't happen for INTEGER fields, only for number fields.
