            Description

            (this was not in rev 6524)

            With open tracking turned on, the Click Through Summary report incorrectly lists the unique extern/open.php URL for every message sent.

                Aaargh. I added the previous 1.4 tarballs to http://downloads.openngo.org/civicrm/1.4/ - these (r6542) don't have the CRM-1138 fix which was the last CiviMail fix to v1.4.

                I'll sort it out today and come up with a solution. Sorry for the mess.

                Since r6652, CiviMail no longer tracks URLs containing /civicrm/mailing/ and /civicrm/extern/ - let me know whether this solution makes sense.

                This works - and I've tested all the fixes. It's a bit cumbersome if you have a URL that is different on every email, such as a link to the user's account edit page in Drupal, as you get in the report a line for all those URLs. Perhaps there could be a keyword (ala <nowiki>) that turns off URL tracking in a section of the message, but that's messy, too. I'm not sure there is a good solution if you want URL tracking and want to include a personalized URL - you'll just end up with 5000 lines in the report...
