      This improvement would allow developers of CiviCRM module extensions to define module-specific permissions which site admins could then assign to users or roles of their choice. The use case is analogous to Drupal's hook_permission(), except that this would work in CiviCRM module extensions and thus conceivably be supported in any of CiviCRM's supported CMSs.
