Description
This improvement is being commissioned by Tadpole.
The goal is to allow end-users to submit a grant application via a front-end form or profile. The admin UI will be a simplified version of manage contribution page or manage event page pattern.
Under the Grants menu item, under Find Grants add a separator and then New Grant Application Page.
On the Grant Dashboard, include a section Manage Grant Application Pages with a Configure dropdown including three options and a more dropdown including two options (see attached - two images).
The configure options take the admin user to one of three tabs for configuring a Grant Application page. The first is for Title and Settings, the second for receipt, and the third is for profiles configuration. See attached images for the fields on each tab.
A user applying for a grant will see a screen similar to a contribution page, with a submit button at the bottom.
Following discussions about implementing a multi-tab/multi-page jQuery library for large forms, it was agreed that saving as draft would not be part of that initiative. We will be adding support for saving Drafts to Grant Application Pages. Initial support for editing draft grants will be included via Contact Summary form editing of a Grant.
