Add "mini" notification area

            Description

            The big black popup boxes are good for major/important messages, but not very good for a simple "saved" message, especially in an ajax form context where those "saved" messages pop up every few seconds.
            Proposal is to add a small area in/near the admin menu where unobtrusive messages like "working..." and "saved." can be displayed.
