            Description

            Starting in CiviCRM 4.2, financial records started to be recorded differently than the 3.x days. The event registration cart does not currently record the event registration contributions and related records to match this new way.

                I applied the patch and tested a multiple participant checkout (1 event in cart). The line_item, financial_item, financial_trxn outputs looked correct. I noticed a bug re: Pay Later and a few issues in the checkout flow. I opened a new issue for those and tentatively assigned to Peter Haight.
