Description
There are times when users create financial types that should be deductible, but they forget to toggle the "tax deductible" check box. If a change is made to the financial type AFTER contributions have been recorded, one must then go back into the contributions to wipe out the auto-filled non-deductible amount. Our clients realized this when it was time to print tax letters, and it affected thousands of contributions. It would seem to be that this field should only be filled out by a human, and then only when the overall financial type is deductible. If it is not a requirement for some other process such as IIF, then please add it to the wish list of enhancements to remove this function as it is very cumbersome for our clients.
