      Description

When using searchbuilder results to create a new activity for all resulting users, browser is showing "Error type: Could not find a valid session key." error.

Session cookie is set ok, for correct domain.

I can't reproduce for the Demo site, as the Demo site will not let me cerate an account!

      Workflow:

      • create search results using searchbuilder
      • choose "new activity"
      • set activity to:
      • no matter what is checked for activity type
      • no matter what is checked for create separate activity
      • no matter what is checked for status
      • hit save

      Error is thrown (see screenshot)

      using:

      • Drupal 7.26
      • Civi 4.4.4
      • OS - Win XP + Ubuntu (precise)
      • browser independant

I can now confirm this bahaviour on the demo site for Drupal & Civicrm 4.4.4,
User cannot create an activity for multiple contacts where the contacts are from the results of a serchbuilder search.

          Workaround:

          • do searchbuilder search
          • add contacts to a temp group
          • conduct basic or advanced search for contacts in the temp group
          • use these search results to add an activity to multiple contacts

          Cheers,
          M.

Sorry, this isn't a client that can afford to support it, and we don't have the luxury atm.
They've opted for using the workaround for the time being.

If anyone else has resources... please feel free and post your findings

closing for now as issue was logged a long time ago & is unsponsored. The fix is non-trivial & might be part of an extension leap rather than a monthly iteration. Please re-open if sponsor emerges
