    The behaviors on the New Membership form in standalone mode are broken in 4.5 in the following ways :

1. When selecting a contact with a valid email address and a non-price-set membership type:

• the 'email-receipt' row remains hidden so user can not send receipt

2. When selecting a contact with a valid email address and a Membership Price Set:

• the 'email-receipt' row remains hidden so user can not send receipt
• the Financial Type field is not updated dynamically (in 4.4. it is set to the value of the financial type of the selected price field option)

If you create a membership via membership > new membership, select a contact, select a price field and choose to record payment then:

• the financial type is not pre-filled from the price set financial type
• there is no 'send confirmation and receipt' check box and no email is sent.

If you create a membership by finding the contact and then "add membership", you do get the financial type pre-filled and the 'send confirmation and receipt' check box is present.

This is a regression from the 4.4 series (ie no problems on demo)
