Two other glitches I discovered when testing behaviors for a Disabled case type.
1. when you add an activity to a case which has a disabled type, the postProcess works fine but the new activity pop-up form never 'finishes and closes'. If you reload the page after that you see the status message: "Case does not have a recognized case-type!" Ideally the lookup that's failing to find the disabled case type in this instance should be tweaked to include disabled types since I think it's valid for existing cases of that type to be worked on.
2. When viewing Cases tab for a contact, if the case type is disabled that column in the selector is empty (lookup fails).
