CRM-15562 The Save and New button is visible for users who do not have Add Contact permission

      Description

      A user with Edit Contact but not Add Contact rights still sees the Save and New button, but gets an error because they do not have rights to add a new contact. Is it possible to check on those rights before displaying the button. I'm not adding a patch at this stage since someone be able to make the change more quickly than I, or may even be working on that form.

          Fantastic quick response - just one problem, I'm not sure the fix made its way to 4.5.3 under Joomla - I've just applied the update and checked.

          Sorry got the version wrong - 4.5.3 had already been released when I fixed this.
          You can patch it yourself by applying https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-core/pull/4518.diff or if you're not familiar with that process, just wait for the next release in a couple weeks.

          StackExchange will provide the CIviCRM community with a venue for asking and answering questions that is quite a bit more advanced than our current forum - I think there is general consensus that we have outgrown that system. We may keep part of the forums around (developer discussion, for example) but I think the bulk of the help and support forums will move over to SE.
