Cannot use search builder on multiple Grant and Case types

Search Builder "IN" operator doesn't work for either Grant or Case. (see attached) IN works for entities like Activity or Contribution.

This is less serious for Case, as Find Case can search by multiple Case types. However, Grant has no way to search for multiple Grant types at once. "Find Grant" doesn't allow multiple-type searching.
