Problem reproduced on the demo.civicrm.org website :
1) Activate CiviCase
2) Visualize a contact
3) Go to the "Cases" tab
4) Add a case and an activity
5) Click on the activity's status : nothing happens
You should be able to change an activity status by clicking on it : View the same case via the civicase menu, when you click on an activity's status, a selector appears.
It seams that the JS responsible for displaying the selector is in "CRM/Case/Form/ActivityChangeStatusJs.tpl" and is not called when viewing a contact. Including the file in "CRM/Contact/Page/View/Summary.tpl" solves the problem
