            Description

            With this parameter added, mass mailing related extensions such as Mailjet integration will not need to override Mailing.php in BAO any more which solved version compatibility issues.

                Please submit a PR against 4.5 branch which we can then merge upstream to 4.6 (master). I think Eileen will then merge the 4.4 PR (LTS requires that additions like this are first merged into a upstream version).

                Yes, we need to be able to say that 'this will not break when you next upgrade' so things need to be fixed upstream before they go into the LTS
