Description
After upgrading from 4.5.0 to 4.6.3 version, I lost ability to access CiviCRM console completely--any attempt to do so would kick me back to the homepage of our website. I traced this to the "Validate SSL Certs" option being enabled in the new version by default. We have an extended validation valid GoDaddy SSL certificate installed on our website (you can see the certificate at https://brminstitute.org). To fix the issue, I had to turn CiviCRM use of SSL completely OFF in MySQL Settings table for CiviCRM and then flip the "Validate SSL Certs" option to OFF too. Once the validation was turned off, I was able to re-enable "Force secure URLs (SSL)" option in CiviCRM and could still access CiviCRM management console.
