            Description

            When searching for Contributions using 'Search' > 'Find Contributions' or 'Search' > 'Advanced Search' the Payment Method field (aka Payment Instrument) only allows the facility to search by a single payment method. Consequently it's not possible using either of these search tools to run a search that might be looking for contributions made in the last week by cash or check.

            It is possible to search in this way using the Search Builder tool, but that only displays contacts as a result rather than contributions.

            If it was possible to change this search field so that users could multi-select, as is currently the case with many other fields, e.g. contact types, groups, this would greatly improve the search tools with respect to finding contributions.
