Description
In the view contact screen next to the CiviCrm ID another ID can be presented: the User ID.
In Civicrm 4.6.10 and Joomla 3.4.5 this only works when the user has superuser rights.
The necessart acl level needed for this includes only rights to view and edit users in the users component of Joomla. Superuser rights are way beyond this.
In previous versions of CiviCrm and/or Joomla this worked okay. The Joomla demo that runs on the civicrm.org site (deprecated versions of Joomla 3.4.1 and civi 4.6.0) works okay with a demo account that only gives rights to view/edit the user component and the civicrm component. In the demo the User ID is present in the contact view, and gives a hyperlink to the user account of the contact that is presented in the contact view.
For administrators this is an important link: it permits a simple check of the sync between user account and contact data inside civicrm.
It is not good practice to allow administrators superusers rights: they can change anything at will in the website.
