entity_table whitelist breaks extension use of Profiles.

            Description

            In work on CRM-14901 entityTable functions were added to the UFJoin BAO. The problem with this is that now, for example, volunteer cannot create associations with UFJoin. The API returns the error: 

            'civicrm_volunteer_project' is not a valid option for field entity_table

            As far as I can tell there is no way to supplement this whitelist with additional values short of a PR against core.
