custom fields "Select Date" are broken as of 4.7

When I add new custom field type "Select Date" to a Profile - it shows extra field next to it on the frontend and the date range does not work, it is always forced to 10 years prior to the current year. See the birth-date example on the screenshots done on http://wpmaster.demo.civicrm.org/.

This was working in 4.6, broken in 4.7
