Description
In 4.7, the "update participant statuses" became "Participant status - change (emails sent)". The user and administrator training has a couple of activity tasks that involve changing participants from "Registered" to "Attended", and at the most recent one, everyone ignored this item in the Actions drop-down because they were afraid that it would email everyone.
No emails are sent unless the statuses actually change, and even then, it's only in certain circumstances. The conditions are explained at the top of the update form.
I plan to remove the "emails sent" language and improve the display of the conditions.
