Error on profile listing search on communication method

Using preferred communication method in the selector on a profile (per image) causes an error in listings mode

This is the Name & Address profile with the above fields added as 'searchable' and 'in selector' & accessed from civicrm/profile?gid=1&reset=1

Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
One of parameters (value: Postal Mail) is not of the type Integer

I have logged this as minor despite being a hard-error as it appears to be a long-term undetected error. I picked it up testing fixes related to this field in search, but verified the process was broken prior to my change
