Unwanted Billing email address is created with Online Pay Now payment

            Description

            Using the Online Pay Now functionality a billing email address is created, even when "Billing address required" is not checked and there is no profile with a billing email address in the Contribution Form that is configured for the Online Pay Now link.

            We do not use separate billing emails or addresses and this seems unwanted behavior. Not sure where it comes from and if this is easily fixed or by design.
