When importing a list that has duplicates, users should be given the option to update existing information, or add missing indformation.
For example: I may have an "Addressbook file" that contains mostly phone numbers and addresses. I import this file.
Then i have my email client's "address book" when i import this address book, it will not import records identified as duplicates (how is that identificiation made BTW?) but what I would really like to do is fill in the gaps in the existing records, adding email addresses where there are none.
