Overview:When editing the websites in a contact's Summary, using "- none -" as the website type will delete it on the second save.
-
How it works currently:Websites with empty types get removed from the contact.
-
How it should work:Websites should persist regardless of their type or lack thereof, OR website type should be mandatory.
Description
When editing the websites, using "- none -" as the website type will delete it on the second save. In the Summary tab, this seems consistent. The behavior is slightly different in the Edit form, adding a second website without a type will delete the first one (but still add the new one without a type).
Reproduced on latest CiviCRM:
- Create a contact
- In the Summary tab, click Add or edit websites
- Enter http://example.com and set the Website Type to none
- Click Add or edit websites again
- Enter http://example2.com and set the Website Type to none
Result: Both websites have been removed from the contact.
