Currencies (like Euro) with a comma for thousand separator are being seriously mishandled

            Description

            A price set with an option of 10,00 EUR is being converted to a price of 1000 on the contribution page submit process- ie. the comma is being cleaned. This is exacerbated by the new change to show more decimals - ie. it can become 10000000

             

            The underlying issue was introduced (and identified as being introduced) in https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-10974
