Description
Krund Jalmi from the forums suggested I post this here as I haven't been able to get tokens to pass values when using messages templates. Here's the info I posted in the forum:
I have a message template set up for renewal notices and after running the UpdateMembershipRecord script the email message did go out but there were no values where I had used tokens in the template. I'm using Joomla 1.0.13 and CiviCRM 1.9.
So, the membership renewal reminder was sent out like this:
{contact.first_name} {contact.last_name} {contact.street_address} {contact.supplemental_address_1} {contact.supplemental_address_2} {contact.city},
{contact.state_province}{contact.postal_code}
Membership #
{contact.external_identifier}Your membership to Computing Assistance Support & Education Inc is due to expire in a month.
Please visit our website at http://www.case.org.au/membership.html to renew your membership.
Thanks.
Any hints on what to look for in getting the values to display rather than the tokens themselves?
Thanks.
