Ok, if I limit the profile to the group "Administrator", it works http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=1&force=1 "Public User Pages and Listings" for smart groups doesn't work

I create a normal group "Public User Pages and Listings", and a public profile limited to this group, and it works
if I limit the profile to the group "Administrator", it works

Both as demo user and anonymous

I create a smart group "Administrator (smart)", that contains all the contacts that belong to the Administrator group
I change the group settings to "Public User Pages and Listings"

I create a copy of the profile, and only change the group from Administrator to Administrator (smart)

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/profile?reset=1&gid=3&force=1

As the user demo, I see the same list, as anonymous, that's empty

"status No matches found for:
Member of Group IN ... AND ...
Group Status - "Added"

Suggestions:
check your spelling
try a different spelling or use fewer letters
if you are searching within a Group or for Tagged contacts, try 'any group' or 'any tag'"
