When using the primary location shortcut fields (street_address, phone, etc.) in the contact_add API method, those values don't actually get added to the new contact

If you create a new contact via the contact_add API method (via REST, at least) and include a street_address, city, state_province, phone, etc. fields that allow you to shortcut into the primary location, none of those values actually get associated with the new contact. But email, first_name, last_name, etc. do.
