CRM-4435 Activity detail entry form does not appear when adding activities to members of a group

            Description

            1. Find members of a group
            2. Select some or all of the records
            3. Choose 'Record Activity for Contacts' from the drop-down menu
            4. Click on the [Go] button
            5. On the next page, the form in which to add the details of the activity is not displayed; only the [Save] and [Cancel] buttons are available.

                Can you try to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org. Seems to be working for me.

                Just tried it on the demo site (2.2.4?) using Safari and found the problem did not occur. Retried it on my own site using first the Garland theme in Safari, then using my standard theme (Pixture Reloaded) in Firefox and find the problem still exists. Only the submit buttons are displayed. Inspecting the source code for the displayed page suggests it's not a rendering problem.

                Did the code change between 2.2.2. and 2.2.4? Do I have an incomplete or defective installation?

                Might be some problem with your system. Can you retry clearing your browser cache and files/civicrm/templates_c folder.

                Sounds scary to clear templates_c. Assume the content is dynamically regenerated as needed?

                Cleared browser cache and deleted contents of templates_c as suggested. Symptoms are identical.
