            Description

            Steps to recreate (tested on 2.2.9 and 3.0.2):

            1) Create new install (drupal, civicrm) and ensure anonymous has view event info permission.
            2) Enable Drupal's Path module and create a URL alias: civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=3 --> test
            3) Log out
            4) Nav to site/test

            Expected results:
            Event info page would display just like it does when you use site/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=3

            Actual Results:
            Access denied message is displayed.

                please provide a patch to either civcrm or the path module to fix this. i dont think we can test and fix issue related to other modules
