Description
Improvement needed for Groups on intake forms for all Contacts/Households/Organizations, as follows:
When creating nested groups (children of parent groups), the intake (new record) form show a complete list of the groups sans any hierarchy that was previously created manually or imported. This hierarchy, while exists in the core, is not reflected at all in the user interface (UI). There is no way for the general user to navigate, no less, intuit which group is nested (child under parent or which one is which).
The UI should be hierarchical visually in standard conventional tree formation. Even if a child is related to more than one parent, even if it appears duplicative in the tree formation, the user will still know that it is in the correct group if the core prevents duplicate group names.
I would take a crack at it but limited time behind a keyboard due to bilateral carpal tunnel to my neck prevents concentrated hours of keypunching and staring at a screen.
