CRM-6251 profiles in contribution pages not at top of page

      Description

Profiles can be included on contribution pages either at the "top of page" or "bottom of page". The help text for the "top of page" profile says:
"Include additional fields in this online contribution page by configuring and selecting a CiviCRM Profile to be included at the top of the page (immediately after the introductory message)."
However, the "top of page" profile actually appears below the contribution amounts, membership block, premiums, and honoree information. The only things between it and the "bottom of page" profile are the PCP and billing sections, so if PCPs are disabled and you're using PayPal standard, the "top of page" and "bottom of page" are right next to each other.

This isn't necessarily a problem, but it contradicts what the help text says, so users get frustrated. Either the help text should be altered or the template (CRM/Contribute/Form/Contribution/Main.tpl) should put the "top of page" at the top of the page.

any suggestions on what we can say in the help text to make it easier for folks to understand what we mean? Please provide a patch to the tpl if possible and we'll incorporate that wording

          thanx

I'll take a stab at writing some revised help text this afternoon. I just didn't know whether it was preferable to change the description to match the location or to change the location to match the description.

A patch changing the wording for attaching a profile to be included at the "top" of a contribution page.

I think a longer-term idea (which I may attempt some week less busy than this one) would be to replace this Include Profiles screen with an interface to arrange the standard sections of the contribution page and any number of additional profiles, much like the Manage Fields screen for a content type in CCK.

Also fixed markup on that template.
