CiviCRM Profile: Value of default option is inserted instead of its label

            Description

            I was setting a Multiple Choice Option of a Custom Field (Data Type: Numeric, Field Type: Autocomplete-Select) as default value.
            If I click on "Preview Field Display" everything works as expected and the Label of the default option is inserted.
            But when I use this Custom Field in a CiviCRM Profile the value of the default option is inserted instead of the label (see attachment).

            I am running a multilingual CiviCRM installation (3.3.0) on Drupal 6.19
