Description
Everybody I know who started using CiviCRM got problems with the import function, because excel is producing usually no UTF8-Code. (At least the German version isn't.)
Would it be possible to automatically detect the coding? Or at least to pick one if UTF8 is not working? (getting a message like "This is no CVS file with UTF8 coding. Shall I import it as Latin1?"
Would decrease first user frustration a lot, as most of the people I know start testing with importing some data.
